| Several
hundred employees gave Stewart a standing ovation and applauded several other times as she
spoke. While addressing a large group of her employees, Martha said, "It's really
wonderful to be back. I've missed you, as you can imagine. I've thought about you every
single day." Martha was surrounded by the usual fawning females and male sycophants. |
| Stewart
also actually said that she had had "the tremendous privilege" of meeting a
cross-section of people in the federal women's prison in W.Va., and "learned a great
deal about our country." |
| Her total 10-month
confinement specifies that she may leave her estate for up to 48 hours a week for work
purposes. Work will include her special version of the reality TV show "The
Apprentice," creating stuff for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and starring in a
new version of her homemaking show. Her $900,000-a-year salary will resume. Except when
she is not there, Martha will spend the next five months in home confinement on her
153-acre estate in Katonah, NY. |
| Revenue from her new
reality TV show will reportedly go directly to Martha, not to her company. |
| Martha claimed that
while in prison she really didn't miss material things and it was good to take a break
from material things. She has returned to her usual surroundings: Fawning
female execs and male sycophants. |
