The 5-star general
of the women's movement, Ms. Gloria Steinem, continues to wage war. But she has been
forced to choose a new battlefield. |
| These days Ms.
Steinem, searching for a cause, is fighting to close down the US' terrorist detention camp
at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She wants to free the terrorists, those combatants who were
captured in the act of trying to kill soldiers, and civilian men, women and children. If
freed, many detainees would return to their homelands to suppress women's rights. Then
former detainees would likely pursue training and venture out to kill more soldiers, and
civilian men, women and children. |
| Ms. Steinem fails to
comprehend that women have won their rights and more. Their war is over. Men have been
whittled into frail shadows of what they were just three decades ago. Some men have
turned to other males for gratification. Many men simply shy away
from today's unattractive, hard-edged females. Others abdicated their masculinity to women who
grab it and workout with it. What women can achieve with their hard-won spoils may be less
than what they lost. Some lost motherhood, femininity, male companionship, and the ability
and desire to attract men. Many females, while trying to use their new rights, become
overwhelmed and turn to bragging of being over-stressed after failing to multitask
successfully in inappropriate roles. Their zeal to succeed in their new-found
male-oriented roles becomes unsatisfying and life-draining. |
