| Hillary's legislation
would override the US Constitution's 14th Amendment which explicitly gives each state the
right to make that determination. Hillary estimates that would add a potential pool of 4.7
million voters. |
| Northwestern
University's Jeff Manza and Marcus Britton and the University of Minnesota's Christopher
Uggen released a study that found 30% of felons would vote if Hillary's law was passed.
That would provide 1.4 million new voters. If these voted in the same
democratic-republican split as felons have previously voted in states where ex-cons were
permitted to vote already, the potential 2008 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton would
receive an extra 1.2 million votes. That's enough to put her in the Oval Office -- even if
the race is not close. |
| Also, with 1.2
million ex-cons voting Democratic, President Hillary would quite possibly have a House and
Senate controlled by her own party. Ex-cons may be in charge along with many others who
should be cons. |
